**Time Tuber** is an epic item in tibo.dog. In-game description: “+15% duration and +8% projectile speed.”

## Overview

Time Tuber is an epic item that adds 0.15 duration and 0.08 projectile speed. Copies stack additively. With no luck it is about 1.3% of random item rolls (4% Epic × 3/9).

Both bonuses are added to the stat totals before conversion (see [Stats](/stats#stat-conversion)). Duration already includes a built-in +0.25, so one tuber takes effects from 1.25× to 1.4× their listed time, 12% longer. Projectile speed goes from ×1 to ×1.08.

## How it works

- **Duration** lengthens weapon effects such as pools, auras and projectile lifetimes. It also lengthens burns, freezes and other statuses from hits, and the fries from [Porcupine Spud](/items/porcupine-spud) and [Fry Volcano](/items/fry-volcano). The eyes from [Wandering Eyes](/items/wandering-eyes) use a fixed lifetime and do not get longer.
- **Projectile speed** applies in full to most weapons, but orbiting weapons get only half of the bonus. Projectiles that last longer and fly faster also travel further.

## Tips

- It pairs with weapons whose damage depends on how long their effect stays out, and with burn items such as [Magma Croquette](/items/magma-croquette).
- [Slow Cooker](/passives/slow-cooker) gives +0.1 duration per level if you want more of the same.

## Obtaining

- Items come from [points of interest](/points-of-interest) such as the Fry Cart vendor, Potato Crates, the Microwave and Tater Slots, and from loot runners (Golden Scarab, Lost Saucer). Ordinary [chests](/chests) never give a new item; they can only evolve one you already hold. Rarity weights: Common 59, Uncommon 25, Rare 10, Epic 4, Legendary 2.
