Tomato Leech

#Overview

The Tomato Leech is the only tier-2 pest of Ketchup Bog. Tier 2 is in the wave table from the start, at one pick in nine, and becomes the main tier from minute 3 until it leaves after minute 9. With Normal's two-minute tier lag that means up to about 11:59.

It is a plain chaser: speed 38, 20 HP, 6 contact damage. It gives 2 XP and has a 5% chance to drop gold; Ketchup Bog coins are worth ×1.3.

#How it works

It has no special behaviour: the chase kind just uses the default movement straight towards Tibo.^[1] Its mass of 0.1 means knockback moves it 90% as far as a massless pest.

Tier 2 is the elite tier from 1:00 to 4:59, so early elites spawned in Ketchup Bog are Tomato Leeches (see Elites).

#Tips

• It has the same HP and damage as the Potato Beetle and is slightly faster. Nothing about it needs special handling; watch the bog's burning puddles while dodging it.
